Want to get more involved? Kiva is looking for volunteers!

“I love being a Team Leaders and I love my team. I'd recommend Kiva and the volunteer programs to anyone. Great program.”
Team Leaders Kent (Only the Loanly) and Véronique (Baobab) pose with past Volunteers of the Month, Marty (Magnificent 7) and Connie (Baobab).

Have you ever wondered how Kiva manages to post so much content on Kiva.org? Behind the scenes, our dedicated worldwide teams of editing and translation volunteers review each and every loan description that comes in from the field and prepare them for posting. With Kiva's success, these teams are growing. To keep them working smoothly, we need several highly committed volunteers to lead teams of up to 30 members.

This is a great opportunity to use your professional skills to make an impact by volunteering with the dynamic, creative organization that invented web-based person-to-person microfinance-- all from the comfort of your home office, kitchen table, or neighborhood internet cafe.

If you are a strong communicator who can commit six to eight hours a week for 13 months and would like to be a part of what FORTUNE Magazine called the “hottest non-profit on the planet,” click here!

* Native-level English fluency is required. Spanish language abilities are a plus.

For an opportunity to be an intern at Kiva Headquarters, please visit Kiva's Volunteer Page or email Rachael Caine, Kiva's Internship Program Manager at rcaine@kiva.org.
