"Social Entrepreneurship in a War Zone"

Come hear Scott Gilmore, winner of the 2010 Skoll Award for Entrepreneurship talk about how social-minded entrepreneurs can make a difference in war zones. Matt Flannery, Co-Founder and CEO of Kiva (and winner of the 2008 Skoll Award for Entrepreneurship) will moderate the discussion.

Scott will highlight the work of his organization, Peace Dividend Trust, as well as that of Rory Stewart and the Turquoise Mountain Foundation, and the Altai Group. Each group demonstrates how entrepreneurs can work in the midst of war in Afghanistan, and succeed in improving the lives of Afghans.

Admission is free to the public.
