Please join us in welcoming the first handful of Colombian entrepreneurs to the Kiva platform! This weekend, Kiva's first Colombian partner, the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo (FMSD) posted their first loans to the website, adding one more country to Kiva's ever-expanding portfolio.
The entire Kiva team is delighted to have teamed up with this FMSD to expand access to credit in the marginalized rural and peri-urban areas along the Atlantic coast. FMSD is a NGO with over 40 years of experience in development, education, microcredit and housing programs. They will be working with Kiva to expand their lending operations in Barranquilla and Cartagena de las Indias.
